We are a small family run kennel and unlike some of the others, we cap the number of dogs we take, so we can maintain a low ratio of dogs to handlers. This is done to ensure the safety of the dog and handler, but it also allows for each animal to have ample time and attention.
At Bo's, we pride ourselves on being able to handle all types of dogs. Whether they like group play or being alone, we are set up to take them all. Socialization or behavioural issues are not a problem, we can build a plan for every dog.
Dogs are not all we take care of, we have room to take cats, birds, or just about any other pets too.

Bo's Best Kennels is under new ownership since 2018, we are working to provide a loving, caring and fun vacation spot for your pets. As owners of several pets, we know they are not just pets, but family. Like family they deserve to be treated right . That is why at Bo's, we go out of our way to make your loved ones stay the best it can be, with daily hikes by the creek and lots of time interacting with others.
There are 24 large temperature controlled indoor/outdoor kennels, for dogs that stay with us. Each kennel has enough room for two very large dogs to fit in. We have four separate exercise runs, 3 large fields for group play and 20 acres of secure fenced trails to walk on, with a creek for swimming.
We strive daily, to improve our kennel and make it better for all of our guests. We don't want to be the biggest but we try hard to be the best.
About The New Owners
Kathleen worked as a mental health professional for the last 20 plus years, training and utilizing two therapy dogs within her practice. She always dreamed of working with dogs full time, and has now turned her passion into her life work. Kathleen and her family have spent countless hours renovating and expanding the property to best suit her vision. She wanted a place where people can bring their pets, and know they are safe, loved and getting a holiday of their own. Every single animal she looks after is sure to get a fun filled experience while at Bo's. Kathleen and her family have no desire to be the biggest, but certainly work hard to be the best, at what they do.

Your pet’s happiness is our number one priority. During their stay, we want them to be as happy as possible, by learning what they like and dislike. We make every effort to provide them with the love and care they deserve. We never charge extra for snuggles - it’s included.
Cat Boarding
The Best for Your Pet
We have room for cats too. A cat condo that has enough room to accommodate 2-3 cats and a staff that loves to pamper them. We are working to expand and make the cats area better.
The Story of Bo's Best Kennels
How We Got Started
Bo's Best Kennels was first built in 1997. It was a boarding facility, but also a breeding kennel specializing in German Shepards. The business was sold in 2002 and ran as a successful boarding kennels for the next 14 years. In 2016 one of the owners became ill, the name and product began to suffer because they were not able to provide the attention required. In 2018 the property was sold again and now we are trying to develop the kennel to it former status. We are upgrading many of our facilities and trying to improve the kennel as a whole. We hope we can gain the confidence of our clients and have our kennel be the first name, recommended by all. As a side note we also breed French Bulldogs.

What do you supply for overnight boarding?
We only require you to bring your pets food because a change in diet can upset their digestive system. Everything else required for their stay is supplied. Comfort things, like toys or blankets can be brought but they are not required.
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
At Bo's we try and post pictures daily of the pets that are boarding with us. You, can also call and we would be glad to let you know how your pet is coping.
My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?
Yes, we can accommodate your pets special needs and there is no extra charge.
Do you charge extra for meds or special diets?
No there are no extra charges, the price includes any meds, special diets or other special requirements.
Vaccinations what does my pet need?
All pets are required to be current with their vaccinations and we require a copy from your vet to verify. This is required to ensure the safety of all pets. Most vets will email a copy if you do not have one on hand.
